Lucio Linhares (13-4) comes off a submission victory over Mikhail Zayats at M-1 Global past Augst and now has countrymate Rousimar Palhares (9-2) set for UFC 107 on December 12th.

The Spartan, as he is best known, called off some seminars to prepare himself exclusively for the debut at UFC, organization where he never thought he would fight a day. Check his words about the upcoming fight.

“Of course it was always a dream of mine to fight at UFC but I never thought it would become true. It’s the opportunity of my life now” said today. “Never is good to face off a Brazilian, especially a talented guy such Toquinho. I will prepare myself to fight standing and on the floor, despite I recognize jiu-jitsu and wrestling as his best skills. I will use my reach and maybe surprise him with my boxing background”.
