JZ analyses Mike Brown vs Jose Aldo at WEC

Postado por Redação em terça-feira, 17 novembro 2009

JZ

“It’s going to be a big fight! It’s a fight that everybody wants to watch, even me as a fan. It’s difficult to talk about a fight when one of the contestants is a training partner like in my case with Brown. It becomes an unfaifh comparison of the potential of each one due my close call with Mike. Trying to look at the quality of them, I see Brown being more experienced and stronger. Everyone who trains with him knows how strong he is. A five-round match is favorable to Brown. Aldo is explosive and agile, moves so much and has a good timing standing. But Brown is sufficiently solid to stand the pressure and impose his game either striking or grappling. I see Mike Brown with the tools to control the fight but Jose Aldo is dangerous in the first rounds overall. Brown is excellent onto the ground. He fights to finish and punches to open the space for a submission like he did with Leonard Garcia. And more, his cardio and endurance will be determinant to the combat.”

Gesias Cavalcante shared his thoughts about WEC featherweight title shot that puts the champion Mike Brown in front of Brazilian contender Jose Aldo. JZ – as he is known – still don’t have any fight set for 2010 in Japan but revealed that he has a good relashionship with UFC matchmaker Joe Silva but both Ultimate and him never came to the terms.
